New display village for Devine's river parks estate

A NEW builder's display village will be the highlight of the latest land release to be built at Devine Communities' popular River Parks estate at Kelso.

Construction will start soon on River Parks' Stage 2B, which will feature 41 homesites and a new display village with 14 display homes.

It will be the second display village at River parks. The first village opened in 2008 to great success and features 18 homes, allowing buyers to browse different styles and builders.

Stage 2B is due to open in October 2010 and follows on from the success of Stage 2A, which has already sold more than 50 per cent of homesites available.

Devine Queensland State Operations Manager Peter Ryan said demand for River Parks continued to be strong and Stage 2B was being built to give buyers even more choice.

"For those who previously missed out, Stage 2B will provide buyers with another chance to live at this very popular estate with homesites available in a variety of sizes and price points," he said.

"We're also very proud to open our second display village at River Parks. Our first display village received such an overwhelmingly positive response from buyers and builders that it seemed only natural that we build another one. The two display villages will ensure that River Parks has the largest and most extensive range of display homes in Townsville."

Set on 72 hectares, River Parks will be home to approximately 1000 families surrounded by landscaping, promenades of trees, parklands, open spaces, walking and cycling tracks, and a proposed village and central lake including lakefront shopping, cafe and childcare centre.
