With its Kelso location appealing to owner residents and investors, initial allotments have sold quickly in Devine's first Townsville residential community, River Parks.

Now earthworks and landscaping activity, together with housing construction, are underway for new land releases and the opening of a 20-home Battle of the Builders display.

The luxury master planned estate is close to jobs centres like the Lavarack Defence installation, Townsville Hospital and the James Cook University, and surrounded by every family amenity.

It will become home to 1,000 families over the next few years, with Devine preparing and marketing nine precincts in that time.
